- Solo or duo? Studio sessions offer the best value starting at $200, with discounts for 2–3 people.
- Groups of 5 or more? On-site sessions are just $120/person with a $600 minimum—great for office teams.
- Smaller team (1–4 people), but want on-site? A $500 Small Team Package brings the studio to you.
- Personal Style - Do you want a polished studio look or something more natural? Choose from traditional backdrops, indoor office environments, or scenic outdoor locations.
- Convenience - Want to save time? On-site sessions let your team stay put while you get professional results without the travel.
- Outdoor Vibe - Want something different? On-location sessions at parks or town centers near Cicero, Noblesville, Carmel, Fishers or north Indy start at $195 and give your headshot a fresh, standout look.

Sitting is the default. But if you prefer to stand or if your photo policy dictates it, you can substitute standing poses. Head and shoulders poses. Your ceilings must be 9' + to accommodate standing poses. Notify me in advance of your session. Everyone being photographed must be photographed the same way.

If your ceilings allow (9'+), you can complement your headshot by adding a 3/4 body pose (usually standing.) This type of image shows confidence and personality (through body language) and adds variety ( for websites, speaking engagements, press releases, and marketing.) Extra images give you flexibility for future use across different platforms. --- Includes extra image and time. Full body poses are usually best at the studio. A 3/4 or full body image is needed for Virtual Group Photos.

Only small groups can be accommodated with an on-site background - two to three preferred. Larger groups work better with an interior or exterior space if available. One retouched image and extra time included. Best taken after individual sessions.

Virtual Group Photo Creation Fee $100 +
Schedules and small spaces can make a team photo impossible. A digital group photo solves the problem. Headshot images with 3/4 to *full body poses are needed to create digital group photos. Usually photographed on white or grey. Creation fee covers headshot image background removal and digital production. The digital creation fee varies with complexity of project. (Cost of headshot images not included.) The "Small Team Special" image above is an actual example of a virtual group photo. Two individual images from an on-site session were combined with an individual headshot image from a studio session.

Need a different background? We can replace your headshot background with a clean color, stylish office, scenic view, or something custom. Ideal for websites, marketing, or matching your brand style.
The image above is a sample of background removal from two separate standing headshots with an office view background swap.
Transparent Background (1 - 2 $40 ea, 3 - 5 $35 ea, 6+ $30 ea) - Just need the background removed? Delivered as a transparent PNG or TIF. JPG files with background available at your request.
Background Swap (1 - 2 $45 ea, 3 - 5 $40 ea, 6+ $35 ea) - Choose a solid color, gradient or send your own background image file.
Custom Background Replacement (1 - 2 $55 ea, 3 - 5 $50 ea, 6+ $45 ea) - Choose from office, interior or scenic backgrounds. Royalty free stock or my images. Or purchase a stock image or digitally created image by Mike (+$50 - $100+.)
Background Match (N/C ) - Mike will match as close as possible in camera. Minimal color, hue, and similar adjustments to better match your existing background are usually complementary.

Indy Headshots On-site Studio Space Requirements
Space needed:
Minimum – 7′ Wide X 15′ Deep
Preferred – 10′ Wide X 20′ Deep
Ceiling Height – 8′ Minimum, 10’+ Preferred
- Low ceilings hinder proper lighting, especially if standing poses are requested (not recommended.)
- Electricity not necessary. Studio is self contained.
- No special room lighting is needed. Direct harsh sunlight through a window may need controlled with blinds (very rare.)
Full payment is required to reserve your session date. This confirms your booking and holds your session date. Payable by credit card (processed by PayPal) or check. Payment is non-refundable. Any incurred extra fees are billed on a final invoice. Any remaining balance is due before delivery of final product. Images are currently delivered digitally via the web.
Session fee is $120 per person. The minimum cost for an on-site session is $600, which includes up to five people, 50 minutes of photography time, studio setup and tear down and travel within the standard service area. Additional time is billed at $180 per hour. Extra people are billed at $120 per person and include 10 minutes of time.
Your session fee is based on the number of individuals reserved in advance. Please ensure all participants are aware of their appointment time and are present on the day of the session. If fewer people are available on the day of the session, the full session fee still applies. No refunds will be issued for no-shows or last-minute cancellations. You’re welcome to substitute a different person in their place.
- Note on Group Discounts: Group discounts are based on the number of people booked. If the final headcount drops below the minimum required for the discount, we’ll adjust your session total to reflect standard pricing
- If you’d like to add more participants, just let me know at least 72 hours in advance so I can make sure I’m prepared to give everyone the same great experience. Surprise additions on the day may not fit into the schedule.
If you want to offer goodwill in certain cases, you might allow:
While our standard policy is that no-shows and day-of cancellations are non-refundable, we understand unexpected situations can arise.
In some cases — and with at least 48 hours’ notice — we may offer:
A credit toward a future session (valid for 30 days), or
A partial refund at our discretion.
Please note this is considered a courtesy and is not guaranteed.
A credit toward a future session for the absent person (must be used within 30 days).
A partial refund only if notified at least 72 hours in advance.
If you anticipate any changes, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance.
Cancellations
More than 72 hours in advance: Full refund (minus credit card fees).
Less than 72 hours in advance: 50% of the session fee is retained as a cancellation fee.
Day-of or no-shows: No refund.
Rescheduling
More than 72 hours in advance: We’ll reschedule at no extra cost.
Less than 72 hours in advance: A rescheduling fee equal to 50% of your session fee will apply.
Day-of reschedule attempts: Treated as a cancellation, but we’ll do our best to work with you if possible.
If We Need to Cancel
If we must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, emergency, equipment failure), we’ll reschedule at no cost or issue a full refund—your choice.
By paying for your session, you agree to this cancellation and rescheduling policy.

Travel Fees
- No Travel Fee - Most of Marion County, all of Hamilton County plus Tipton, Zionsville in Boone County. (Green areas on map.)
- $50 - Boone County, Madison County, Tipton County. Hendricks and Hancock counties north of IN 40.
- $75 - South donut counties of Morgan, Johnson, Shelby and Putman

Preview galleries are typically posted within 3 – 5 business days after your session. Once you make your image selections, final retouched headshots are delivered within 4 – 6 business days. Turn around time is somewhat dependent on group size with larger groups taking more time and small groups taking less time.
Copyright / Licensing / Usage
All headshot images are copyrighted by Mike Lentz / Indy Headshots Photography. Clients receive a commercial usage license that allows use of the images for typical professional purposes such as company websites, LinkedIn, email signatures, press releases, and marketing materials. Image files may not be resold, used in paid advertising campaigns, or licensed to third parties without written permission. Click here for full licensing details.
What if I want a retake?
If you’re not happy with your headshots due to hair, makeup, or wardrobe, we can book a new session – usually at the regular rate. If there’s a technical issue on our end, we’ll schedule a retake at no charge.

Add Variety to Your Session -Add visual variety by selecting multiple on-site spots for your headshots. Split your team between "spots" or have everyone photographed at all. This is a great way to offer more variety and give team members unique headshot options.

- Headshot photography with standing mid-body poses using a “loose” horizontal crop (waist up) offering greater image flexibility.
- Photographed from different angles to make sure we get your good side.
- One outfit per person and same background spot for everyone. Angles can be varied to make backgrounds appear different. Photo spots and outfits can be added if you don’t mind adding to your bill.

How much space is needed for On-Site Environmental headshots?
There is not a set required space for on-site environmental headshots. Environmental sessions are highly customized and each site is different. Add on a scouting visit for peace of mind.

We get it, sometimes things come up and you may need to cancel or reschedule your on-site headshot photography session. We’re a professional photography business and we spend a lot of time and resources preparing for each session. When clients cancel, it can have a big impact on our income. So, to be fair to everyone involved, we’ve come up with the following cancellation policy:
1. If you cancel your session more than 72 hours in advance, we’ll refund your 50% advance reservation fee (less credit card fees.)
2. If you cancel your session less than 72 hours before the scheduled time, we’ll keep your 50% advance reservation fee as a cancellation fee.
3. If you need to reschedule your session more than 72 hours in advance, we’ll do our best to accommodate you without any additional fees. Your 50% advance reservation fee will be applied to the rescheduled session.
4. If you need to reschedule your session less than 72 hours before the scheduled time, we’ll charge you a 50% rescheduling fee of the session fee you paid. Your 50% advance reservation fee will be applied to the rescheduled session.
5. If you need to cancel your session on the day of the shoot or fail to show up at the scheduled time, we will consider it a last-minute cancellation and your 50% advance reservation fee will be retained as a cancellation fee. We understand that unforeseeable circumstances may arise, and we will work with you to reschedule your session if possible.
6. If we have to cancel your session due to something unexpected, like illness or equipment failure, we’ll reschedule your session at no extra charge. If you prefer, we’ll refund your 50% advance reservation fee.
By paying your 50% advance reservation fee, you agree to the above cancellation policy. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

What if I want a retake?
If you’re not happy with your headshots due to hair, makeup, or wardrobe, we can book a new session – usually at the regular rate. If there’s a technical issue on our end, we’ll schedule a retake at no charge.

Outdoor sessions are great... until they're not. The sun, wind and weather can be a huge factor with location settings. The reward can be worth the risk. Best for singles or small groups.

Outdoors we're a bit more flexible. Typically multiple mid-body poses. Croppable to head and shoulders. Different angles to ensure success. We'll try a few different spots .

Team Sessions (2+ Individuals) Starting at $360 / $410
Outdoor team sessions are best for smaller groups if uniformity across everyone is your goal. For groups over 15 people, we recommend an indoor or on-site studio setup to ensure consistency. Group Rates:
2–4 people: $180 each (+ $25 for alternate location)
5–9 people: $165 each (+ $25 for alternate location)
10–15 people: $150 each (+ $25 for alternate location)
16+ people: custom half-day $1500 or full-day $2500 rate up to x people
Note: Approximately 10 minutes per person is allocated. Outdoor sessions work best for smaller groups in order to ensure a consistent look for everyone. For larger teams, we recommend our studio or on-site studio sessions. -

Need a tif or a 4:5 crop? No problem. Just ask.

Session Time Run Over $180/hr ($45/$15 min)
Additional time is billed if your session runs long due to you arriving late or not being ready as scheduled. There’s no charge for extra time if the delay is on my end (which is rare.) Extra time may not be available. Your session can be cancelled and session fee forfeited if you arrive too late.

Extra Outfit (Per Person) $85
Can't decide on what to wear? Add an outfit to your session, but remember on location means you'll be changing in your car or possibly a public restroom. Hint: Try layering - much more convenient and no extra charge. Of course you would still be billed for extra images. One image and up to15 extra minutes included.

Extra Session Location $95
Want to capture two different looks in one session? Add a second location nearby your first - like start at Noblesville’s town square and then walk over to Forest Park or Seminary Park - for just $95 extra.
Add-on includes: Extra 15–30 minutes of photography and one additional retouched image. -
Extra Time $180/hr ($45/15 min)
Don't want the fun to end? If available, extra session time can be purchased. ($45 per 15 minutes)

Group Photo $150
After individual sessions we can add a group photo. We'll try two or three different spots for variety. One retouched image and extra time included.

Background Edits & Customization $30 +
Edits, corrections and other customizations may be available. Photoshop editing / creative fees will be billed.
Important Info You Need To Know - Please Read
- Headshot session outdoors at one location – last about 15 – 30 minutes.
- One – three photo “spots” add variety.
- Natural light supplemented with flash / reflector as needed.
- Half body poses. (Croppable to head and shoulders.)
- One outfit. Add more for a fee.
- Several+ previews to choose from via private web gallery
- One retouched image delivered digitally in four jpg file formats (Hi Res, low res, full crop, H&S V crop, square LinkedIn crop.)
- Custom retouching by Mike – request welcome.
- Images licensed for personal and professional marketing usage. (No advertising or resell of images without additional licensing.)

Session begins at your scheduled time. Sessions normally last 10 – 20 minutes with a 30 minute max.

Full payment is required to reserve your session date. Payment confirms your booking and holds your session date. Payable by credit card (processed by PayPal) or check. Payment is non-refundable. Any incurred extra fees are billed on a final invoice. Any remaining balance is due before delivery of final product. Images are currently delivered digitally via the web.
The standard location session fee is $195. ($220 for several locations outside of Noblesville / Cicero.)
- Fee is paid in advance to reserve your session.
- Group rates available. (Group must arrive together before the session begins.) Best for small groups. Less time is allocated per person during group sessions.
- No refunds will be issued for no-shows or last-minute cancellations.
- Note on Group Discounts: Group discounts are based on the number of people booked. If the final headcount drops below the minimum required for the discount, we’ll adjust your session total to reflect standard pricing.
Cancellations
More than 72 hours (3 days) in advance: Full refund (minus credit card fees).
Less than 72 hours in advance: 50% of the session fee (plus credit card fees) is retained as a cancellation fee.
Day-of or no-shows: No refund.
Rescheduling
More than 72 hours in advance: We’ll reschedule at no extra cost.
Less than 72 hours in advance: A rescheduling fee equal to 50% of your session fee will apply.
Day-of reschedule attempts: Treated as a cancellation, but we’ll do our best to work with you if possible.
If We Need to Cancel
If we must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, emergency, equipment failure), we’ll reschedule at no cost or issue a full refund – your choice.
By paying for your session, you agree to this cancellation and rescheduling policy.
